Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Drumsticks

Crispy and cheesy air fryer garlic parmesan drumsticks made with simple spices and fresh parmesan. Juicy inside, golden and crunchy outside – ready in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • pounds bone-in, skin-on chicken drumsticks
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat drumsticks dry and remove skin if desired. Coat with baking powder in a large bowl.
  2. Combine parmesan cheese and all spices on a plate. Coat each drumstick thoroughly.
  3. Spray air fryer basket with oil. Arrange drumsticks in single layer.
  4. Cook at 380°F for 24 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Increase to 400°F and cook 5-6 minutes more until golden and crispy.
  6. Rest 2-3 minutes before serving with favorite sauce.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. The two-temperature cooking method ensures juicy, crispy perfection every time.
