Apple Cinnamon Tea

A warm and comforting drink combining the delightful flavors of apple and cinnamon, perfect for chilly days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 tea bags (black or herbal)
  • Honey or sweetener to taste
  • Lemon slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the sliced apple and cinnamon stick, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add the tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and strain the tea into cups.
  5. Sweeten with honey, and add lemon slices if desired.
  6. Serve hot or chill for iced tea.

Notes

Store leftover tea in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freeze in ice cube trays for future use.
