Ashwagandha Moon Milk

Ashwagandha Moon Milk is a calming drink that combines ashwagandha with warm milk and soothing spices, perfect for winding down and promoting better sleep.

  • 1 tsp Ashwagandha Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • ½ tsp Cardamom
  • ¼ tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Dried Lavender Buds
  • 1 tbsp Dried Rose Petals (optional)
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • ¼ tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tsp Maple Syrup

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine ashwagandha powder, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, lavender, and rose petals. Mix well to create your spice blend.
  2. Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until it starts steaming, being careful not to boil it.
  3. Add the cinnamon stick, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and spice blend to the steamed milk. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Let the mixture steep over low heat for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Strain the mixture using a fine mesh sieve to remove the solids.
  6. Froth the milk until light and foamy using an electric frother or whisk.
  7. Pour the frothed milk into a mug and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm. Store leftover milk in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. Reheat gently before serving.
