Banana Lemon Ginger Smoothie

This light and refreshing Banana Lemon Ginger Smoothie is packed with immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory goodness. Quick to make, naturally sweetened, plant-based, and dairy-free — the perfect energizing start to your day!

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk (or preferred milk)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional — for extra cold smoothie)

Instructions

  1. Add Ingredients to Blender: Add banana, almond milk, lemon juice, grated ginger, turmeric, honey or maple syrup (if using), and ice cubes (if using) to a blender.
  2. Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high for 30–60 seconds until smooth and creamy. Add more almond milk if needed to reach desired consistency.
  3. Taste & Adjust: Taste and adjust — add more lemon juice for brightness, more sweetener for sweetness, or more ginger for extra zing.
  4. Serve & Enjoy: Pour into a glass, garnish with lemon zest or turmeric if desired, and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Customize by adding mango, pineapple, orange, spinach, chia seeds, flaxseeds, protein powder, cayenne, cinnamon, or swap almond milk for coconut milk for extra creaminess. Prep smoothie packs for quick blending in the morning.
