Bergamot Chamomile Latte

A soothing beverage combining chamomile’s floral notes with the citrusy essence of bergamot, perfect for relaxation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 chamomile tea bag (or 1 tsp loose chamomile flowers)
  • 1/3 cup hot water
  • 2/3 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1/4 tsp bergamot essence or a few drops of bergamot oil (safe for consumption)
  • 1 tsp honey (adjust to taste)
  • Optional: A light sprinkle of ground cinnamon or dried chamomile flowers for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brew the chamomile tea in hot water by steeping for 3-5 minutes. If using loose flowers, strain them out once done.
  2. Remove the tea bag or strain the loose flowers carefully.
  3. Stir in the bergamot essence and honey into the hot brewed tea.
  4. Heat the milk until steaming (not boiling).
  5. Froth the milk to create a creamy texture.
  6. Pour the steamed milk over the tea mixture, aiming to layer the frothy foam on top.
  7. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or dried chamomile flowers if desired.

Notes

Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to two days. Reheat gently to avoid boiling.
