Black Magic Chocolate Cheesecake

A rich and creamy chocolate cheesecake with a spooky twist, perfect for Halloween or any celebration.

  • 2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate ganache

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter until well mixed.
  4. Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of the springform pan.
  5. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with sugar until smooth.
  6. Add the cocoa powder and vanilla extract, and beat until blended.
  7. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  8. Pour the cheesecake batter over the prepared crust.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes or until the edges are set.
  10. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. Spread chocolate ganache over the top before serving.
  12. Slice and serve with decorations if desired.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for a smooth batter. Avoid overmixing once the eggs are added to prevent cracks.
