Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fruit: Choose ripe blood oranges that feel heavy and have a deep color.
  2. Loosen the Membranes: Roll each blood orange on a hard surface to maximize juice extraction.
  3. Cut the Oranges: Halve the blood oranges using a knife.
  4. Juice the Oranges: Squeeze the halves on a juicer or use hands to juice.
  5. Strain the Juice: Pour through a strainer if pulp-free juice is preferred.
  6. Optional Additions: Mix in sparkling water for fizz.
  7. Serve Immediately: Enjoy the juice right away or stir if it settles.
