Bloody Orange Soda Punch Mocktail

A refreshing and vibrant non-alcoholic mocktail combining blood orange juice and lime for a sweet and tangy experience, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed blood orange juice (from 23 blood oranges)
  • ½ cup fresh lime juice (about 34 limes)
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups sparkling water (plain or citrus-flavored)
  • 1 cup ginger ale
  • Ice cubes (enough to fill pitcher or glasses)
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
  • Blood orange slices (for garnish)
  • Optional: Rosemary sprigs (for herbal aroma)
  • Optional: Ginger syrup or simple syrup (to adjust sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Start by juicing the blood oranges and limes. You can strain the juice if you prefer a smoother texture.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the blood orange juice, lime juice, agave syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix well until all the ingredients are blended.
  3. Add a generous amount of ice to the pitcher to chill the mixture nicely.
  4. Slowly pour in the sparkling water and ginger ale. Stir gently to maintain the fizz, and be careful not to over-mix.
  5. Taste the mocktail and adjust the sweetness if needed. Add more agave or simple syrup as preferred.
  6. When ready to serve, garnish each glass with fresh blood orange slices, mint leaves, and if you like, rosemary sprigs for an aromatic touch.
  7. Enjoy your drink immediately over ice!

Notes

Store leftover mocktail in the refrigerator for up to a day, keeping carbonation separate until serving.
