Ginger Turmeric Immunity Tea

A soothing and immune-boosting tea made with fresh ginger and turmeric, perfect for cozy mornings or rainy days.

Ingredients

  • Fresh ginger root
  • Turmeric root, or ground turmeric
  • Fresh lemon
  • Honey (preferably raw)
  • Black pepper (a pinch)
  • Filtered water

Instructions

  1. Scrub and slice the ginger and turmeric.
  2. Toss slices into a saucepan with two cups of water.
  3. Bring to a low boil and simmer for about ten minutes.
  4. Strain into a mug and squeeze in the lemon juice.
  5. Add honey while it’s hot to help it mix in.
  6. Finish with a pinch of black pepper and enjoy.

Notes

For a variation, you can add cinnamon, orange peel, or use lime instead of lemon. This tea can also be served over ice for a refreshing cold drink.
