Boursin-Cream Cheese Log with Cranberry Walnut Glaze

A delightful appetizer that combines the creamy goodness of Boursin and cream cheese with a sweet cranberry walnut glaze, perfect for any gathering.

  • 1 package (5.2 oz) Garlic & Fine Herbs Boursin
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1/3 cup cranberry sauce (whole berry)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the Boursin cheese, cream cheese, parsley, cranberries, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Shape the cheese mixture into a log and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 60 minutes to firm up.
  3. For the glaze, in a small bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce, honey or maple syrup, walnuts, and balsamic vinegar (if using).
  4. Once the cheese log has set, unwrap it and place it on a serving platter.
  5. Spoon the cranberry glaze over the top.
  6. Serve with crackers or bread.

Notes

This cheese log can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to a week. It also freezes well for up to three months.
