Easy Brazilian Homemade Lemonade Recipe in 2 Ways

A refreshing Brazilian lemonade that delights with its zesty flavor, available in classic and creamy coconut variations.

  • For Classic Brazilian Lemonade:
  • 4 large limes
  • 56 cups water
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp condensed milk
  • Ice
  • For Brazilian Lemonade With Coconut Milk:
  • 4 large limes
  • 3 tbsp condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup brown granulated sugar
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. For Classic Brazilian Lemonade: Wash the limes thoroughly under running water.
  2. Cut the limes into quarters; no need to peel them.
  3. Place the lime quarters in a blender with 5-6 cups of water.
  4. Add the white granulated sugar and condensed milk to the blender.
  5. Blend on high until the limes are well crushed and mixed with the water.
  6. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.
  7. Serve in glasses filled with ice.
  8. For Brazilian Lemonade With Coconut Milk: Repeat washing and cutting the limes into quarters.
  9. Add lime quarters to a blender with 4 cups of water.
  10. Add brown granulated sugar, condensed milk, and coconut milk.
  11. Blend until smooth and strain into a pitcher.
  12. Serve over ice.

Notes

Best served chilled. Can be garnished with lime slices or mint leaves.
