Brie and Fig Puff Pastry Bites

Delightful puff pastry bites filled with creamy Brie cheese and sweet fig jam, perfect for parties or cozy nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 8 oz Brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup fig jam
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Fresh thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into 3-inch squares.
  3. Place a small piece of Brie cheese and a teaspoon of fig jam in the center of each square.
  4. Fold the corners over the filling and seal the edges tightly.
  5. Brush the tops with an egg wash.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. They pair well with wine or cider.
