Candy Cane Forest Christmas Cocoa

A delightful holiday drink combining white chocolate and peppermint, perfect for cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 2 drops pink food coloring
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Crushed candy canes (for garnish)
  • Mini marshmallows (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
  2. Stir in the white chocolate chips, whisking constantly until fully melted and creamy.
  3. Mix in the peppermint extract and pink food coloring until the cocoa has a soft pink hue.
  4. Pour the cocoa into mugs.
  5. Add a swirl of whipped cream, sprinkle crushed candy canes on top, and finish with mini marshmallows for a festive touch.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. Reheat on low with a splash of milk if needed.
