1. Caramelize the sugar
- Add 2 tsp sugar to a small pan over medium heat.
- Stir continuously until the sugar melts and turns a deep amber color.
- Once caramelized, remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
2. Brew your coffee
While your caramel cools, brew one shot of espresso or 120 ml / 4 oz of Colombian single roast coffee.
The rich, smooth notes of Colombian beans add depth to this iced latte.
3. Prepare your glass
- Fill your glass with ice.
- Pour in 120 ml / 4 oz of your milk of choice.
4. Make the vanilla cold foam
- In a frothing pitcher or jar, combine:
- 90 ml / 3 oz heavy cream (or oat cream)
- 30 ml / 1 oz vanilla syrup
- 30 ml / 1 oz milk of choice
- Froth the mixture for 1-2 minutes until it’s light, fluffy, and airy.
5. Assemble the drink
- Pour the brewed coffee into your prepared glass.
- Top with a generous layer of vanilla cold foam.
- Drizzle the cooled caramelized sugar over the foam.
