Cheeseburger Garlic Bread

A delicious and unique twist on traditional garlic bread and cheeseburgers, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.

  • 1 box (11.25 ounces) Frozen Garlic Texas Toast (8-count)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ¼ cup yellow onion (finely diced)
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons hamburger seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup (113 g) sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup (115 g) sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Dill pickles (finely diced)
  • Cherry tomatoes (finely diced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the slices of garlic Texas toast on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Bake the toast for 8 minutes to partially cook the bread.
  4. While the bread is baking, cook the ground beef and finely diced onion in a large skillet over medium heat until browned.
  5. Drain excess grease, then add yellow mustard, hamburger seasoning, and garlic powder. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Take the bread out of the oven and create wells in the center of each slice.
  7. Spoon the beef mixture into the wells and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Return the tray to the oven for an additional 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbling.
  9. Meanwhile, whisk together sour cream, ketchup, red wine vinegar, yellow mustard, and paprika for the sauce.
  10. Drizzle the sauce over each slice of garlic bread and top with diced dill pickles and cherry tomatoes.
  11. Serve immediately and enjoy!

This dish is best enjoyed warm and can be served as an appetizer or main dish.
