Cherry-Cardamom Rebel Float

A bold, whimsical remix of the classic float featuring aromatic cardamom cream soda and vibrant cherry sorbet – a nostalgic treat reimagined with sophisticated flavors and retro presentation.

  • 1 cup cardamom cream soda (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 scoop cherry sorbet
  • 1 teaspoon rose-petal sugar (optional, for rimming the glass)
  • Retro striped straw
  • Vintage soda or float glass for serving

Instructions

  1. Moisten the rim of your serving glass with water or lemon juice and dip in rose-petal sugar to coat (optional).
  2. Ensure cardamom cream soda is well chilled.
  3. Slowly pour soda into the glass at a slight angle, filling about ¾ full.
  4. Scoop a round ball of cherry sorbet and gently place it into the soda.
  5. Watch the fizz and swirling color as the float comes to life.
