Chestnut Cardamom Milk

A creamy and sweet drink featuring chestnuts and cardamom, perfect for chilly evenings and cozy times.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Cooked or Roasted Chestnuts (approx. 8 or 9 whole chestnuts)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 3 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 Cups Milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chestnuts by cooking or roasting them, then let cool.
  2. Add the cooked chestnuts, cardamom powder, sugar, and milk to the blender.
  3. Blend until smooth, which may take a minute or two.
  4. Transfer the mixture from the blender to a saucepan.
  5. Place the saucepan over medium heat and let it simmer for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once it starts boiling, remove the saucepan from the heat.
  7. Pour the warm milk into cups and enjoy hot.

Notes

Adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired. Serve warm and consider pairing with cookies or pastries.
