Iced Brown Sugar Cinnamon Shaken Espresso

A refreshing iced espresso drink with brown sugar and cinnamon for a sweet pick-me-up on hot days.

Ingredients

  • 2 shots of espresso (or strong brewed coffee)
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • Generous shake of cinnamon
  • Teeny splash of vanilla extract
  • Ice
  • Milk or non-dairy alternative

Instructions

  1. Pour hot espresso into a jar with a lid or a reusable coffee tumbler.
  2. Add brown sugar and a shake of cinnamon.
  3. Include a splash of vanilla extract.
  4. Shake vigorously to mix until foamy.
  5. Fill a glass with ice and pour the mixture over it.
  6. Top with your choice of milk and stir well.

Notes

Dissolve brown sugar in hot espresso to avoid graininess. Shake well for a frothy texture and serve immediately.
