Chilled Cherry Blossom Latte

A delightful and refreshing latte combining cherry blossom tea with creamy milk and a touch of sweetness, perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tbsp preserved cherry blossoms or sakura tea
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup oat milk or milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp white chocolate (melted) or 1 tsp vanilla syrup
  • Tiny pinch of salt
  • Ice cubes
  • Preserved cherry blossom for garnish

Instructions

  1. Infuse preserved cherry blossoms or sakura tea in hot water for a few minutes. Start by boiling your water. Once it’s hot, pour it over the cherry blossoms in a cup and let it steep for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a separate container, mix oat milk with melted white chocolate or vanilla syrup and a pinch of salt. Warm the oat milk slightly if using white chocolate to help it melt.
  3. Once your tea has steeped, strain the blossoms if desired and pour the infused tea into the milk mixture, stirring gently to combine.
  4. Take a tall glass and fill it with ice cubes, then slowly pour the combined mixture over the ice.
  5. Garnish with preserved cherry blossoms and serve cold. Enjoy!

Notes

Best served cold. For a sweeter taste, adjust the amount of white chocolate or use flavored syrup. Great pairing with light snacks.
