Chocolate Cold Brew with Cold Foam

A refreshing drink that blends cold brew coffee with chocolate and topped with creamy cold foam. Perfect for hot days or as an indulgent pick-me-up.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup coarsely ground coffee
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (plus extra for topping)
  • Ice
  • Optional: sugar, vanilla, pinch of salt
  • For foam: 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

Instructions

  1. Combine coffee grounds with cold water in a large jar. Cover and let steep for 12–16 hours in the fridge or at room temperature. Strain through a coffee filter or fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher.
  2. Fill a glass with ice. Pour in the cold brew concentrate diluted with milk at about a 1:1 ratio. Add chocolate syrup and stir until mixed.
  3. Froth 1/4 cup of milk in a separate container until foamy. Optionally whisk in extra chocolate syrup.
  4. Spoon chocolate foam on top of the cold brew. Drizzle extra chocolate syrup on top before serving.

Notes

Use high-quality coffee for best flavor. Steeping too long can make coffee bitter. Adjust sweetness per preference.
