Christmas Emerald Frost Cocoa

A festive and cozy drink combining white chocolate and peppermint, perfect for cold holiday nights.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Green food coloring
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Green sanding sugar or edible emerald dust
  • Mini marshmallows (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, warm the milk, heavy cream, and sugar over medium heat until hot but not boiling, stirring gently.
  2. Add the white chocolate chips and whisk until melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the peppermint and vanilla extracts.
  4. Add green food coloring a little at a time until you reach desired color.
  5. Pour into mugs or glasses and top with whipped cream.
  6. Sprinkle green sanding sugar or shimmering emerald dust on top.

Notes

Serve in clear glasses to showcase the emerald color. Can be paired with gingerbread cookies or peppermint bark.
