A delightful twist on traditional hot chocolate, this Christmas Twilight Berry Cocoa combines rich flavors and festive colors for a cozy holiday drink.

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp berry syrup (blueberry, raspberry, or mixed berry)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Purple food coloring (or a mix of blue + pink)
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for topping)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for topping)
  • Optional: edible glitter or frosted sugar crystals

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk and cream in a saucepan over medium heat, being careful not to boil.
  2. Add the white chocolate chips and whisk until melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the berry syrup and vanilla extract. Add sugar if desired.
  4. Add purple food coloring until the drink reaches a deep berry-purple shade.
  5. Pour into clear mugs to showcase the color.
  6. For the topping, whip heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until fluffy.
  7. Spoon whipped cream on top and sprinkle with edible glitter or frosted sugar crystals, if desired.
