Cinnamon Maple Cappuccino

A delightful drink combining rich coffee flavor with maple syrup sweetness and a hint of cinnamon spice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 shot espresso (or 1/3 cup strong brewed coffee)
  • 1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (plus extra for garnish)
  • Optional: Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Brew the Espresso: Start by brewing a shot of espresso using your espresso machine. Pour the brewed coffee into your favorite mug.
  2. Heat the Milk: In a small saucepan, heat 1/2 cup of milk over medium heat until it starts to steam. Do not let it boil.
  3. Froth the Milk: Once the milk is hot, use a milk frother or a small whisk to froth the milk until you have a nice creamy foam.
  4. Mix in Maple Syrup and Cinnamon: Stir 1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup and 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon into the brewed espresso. Blend well.
  5. Combine the Coffee and Milk: Pour the frothed milk over the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon.
  6. Garnish: Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the foam. Add whipped cream if desired.
  7. Enjoy: Sip the Cinnamon Maple Cappuccino slowly and savor its warmth.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. You can store leftovers in the fridge for a day and reheat gently, though foam might not be as frothy.
