Cinnamon Sugar Tear and Share Breakfast Bread

A delightful pull-apart bread coated with a heavenly cinnamon-sugar mixture, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar for topping
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
  2. Cream together softened butter and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Mix in the whole milk until fully combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon, then sprinkle it evenly over the batter.
  9. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Best served warm with fresh fruits or Greek yogurt.
