Coffee Donuts

Delicious baked coffee donuts that combine the flavors of coffee with classic sweetness, offering a healthier alternative to traditional fried donuts.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk together coffee, milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fill the donut pan with the batter about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
