Coquito

A creamy, coconut-based Puerto Rican drink similar to eggnog, perfect for holiday celebrations and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup dark rum
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans coconut milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Pour water, sweetened condensed milk, dark rum, and coconut milk into a blender.
  3. Add cinnamon and salt.
  4. Blend coquito mixture until well combined, then refrigerate for at least one hour, or until ready to serve.

Notes

For best results, serve chilled and shake well before pouring. Can be garnished with cinnamon or nutmeg.
