Cozy Spiced Apple Detox Elixir

A warm and soothing drink detox elixir featuring apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, lemon, and cayenne pepper, perfect for chilly mornings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hot (but not boiling) water
  • 1 tablespoon raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (with “the Mother”)
  • Juice of half a fresh lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (or a cinnamon stick)
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Warm the water till it’s cozy-hot.
  2. Pour it into your mug.
  3. Add the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, cinnamon, cayenne, and honey or maple (if using).
  4. Stir gently until the spices are mixed and the honey is dissolved.
  5. Sip slow and savor the flavors.

Notes

Use a straw to protect your teeth from the acidity of apple cider vinegar. Start with a small amount if you’re new to it.
