Instructions

  1. Soften the Butter: Start by letting the butter sit at room temperature until it is soft but not melted.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, add the softened butter, honey, finely chopped dried cranberries, grated orange zest, vanilla, and salt (if using).
  3. Stir Well: Use a spoon or spatula to stir all of the ingredients together until they are well combined.
  4. Store the Butter: Transfer the butter mixture into an airtight container.
  5. Shape the Butter: To form a log shape, roll the parchment or plastic wrap tightly around the butter mixture.
  6. Chill the Butter: Place it in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours to firm up nicely.
  7. Enjoy: Once chilled, take the butter out of the refrigerator and use as needed.

Notes

This butter can last up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator or be frozen for up to 3 months.
