Blueberry & Avocado Smoothie

A creamy and delicious smoothie that combines blueberries and avocado for a satisfying breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blueberries (frozen or fresh)
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 cup milk of your choice (regular, almond, oat, etc.)
  • 1 scoop Greek yogurt (optional)
  • 12 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Ice cubes (if using fresh blueberries)

Instructions

  1. Add blueberries, avocado, milk, Greek yogurt, sweetener, lemon juice, and vanilla extract into a blender.
  2. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more milk. If it’s too runny, add ice cubes or extra berries.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy. Optionally, top with granola or chia seeds.

Notes

Smoothie can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours. For meal prep, freeze ingredients in a Ziploc bag and blend in the morning.
