Creamy Cajun Chicken and Rice Bowls

A comforting and flavorful dish combining chicken, creamy sauce, and fluffy rice with Cajun spices.

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Cream or heavy cream
  • 1 cup Stock or chicken broth
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil or butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Cook the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side. Remove and let it rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add cream and Parmesan cheese to make a sauce. Stir until smooth.
  4. Prepare rice according to package instructions.
  5. Slice the chicken and serve it over the rice, drizzled with the creamy sauce.

Notes

Garnish with chopped parsley for added flavor. Customize with vegetables or substitute chicken with shrimp for variation.
