Creamy Pear Lemonade: The Velvety Spring Drink That’s Changing How We Refresh

Creamy Pear Lemonade

Creamy Pear Lemonade is a silky, refreshing spring drink that blends ripe pears, fresh lemon juice, and a touch of vanilla into a naturally sweet and subtly tart lemonade with a velvety texture — no dairy required.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe pears, peeled and cored
  • 2/3 cup fresh lemon juice (about 45 lemons)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Thin pear slices and lemon twists, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Peel and core the pears, then cut into chunks. Juice the lemons and strain out any seeds.
  2. Blend pear chunks, lemon juice, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until completely smooth.
  3. Strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher, pressing to extract all liquid.
  4. Add cold water and stir to combine. Adjust water to desired strength.
  5. Chill for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
  6. Serve over ice, garnished with pear slices and lemon twists.

Notes

Use ripe Bartlett or Anjou pears for best creaminess. For a sparkling version, substitute half the water with sparkling water just before serving. Add a pinch of cardamom or cinnamon for a spiced variation. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
