Cucumber Apple Green Smoothie

A refreshing and healthy Cucumber Apple Green Smoothie made with fresh ingredients, perfect for starting your day or as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 apple (cored and cubed)
  • 1 cup seedless cucumber (roughly chopped)
  • 2 cups kale (or any dark greens of choice)
  • 1/3 banana
  • 2 tablespoons flax seed meal
  • 2 scoops protein powder
  • 8 ounces water
  • 1 lemon (peeled)
  • 2 tablespoons ginger root (grated)
  • Ice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: core and cube the apple, chop up the cucumber, peel the lemon, and grate the ginger.
  2. Add all prepared ingredients to a blender.
  3. Pour in the 8 ounces of water.
  4. If desired, add a handful of ice.
  5. Blend everything on high until smooth and creamy.
  6. Check the consistency; if too thick, add more water and blend again.
  7. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

Serve chilled and garnish with a cucumber slice or sprinkle of flax seeds. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
