Dairy-Free Pumpkin Spice Creamer

A delightful, dairy-free creamer that brings warm pumpkin spice flavors to your coffee.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups unsweetened almond milk or oat milk
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1½ tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1½ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: a cinnamon stick or a pinch of ground cloves

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine almond or oat milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice; stir to mix thoroughly.
  2. Add vanilla extract and the optional cinnamon stick for extra flavor.
  3. Heat gently until the creamer just begins to steam (do not boil).
  4. Simmer for about one minute while whisking constantly to bloom the spices and slightly thicken the texture.
  5. Remove from heat and discard the cinnamon stick if used.
  6. If you prefer ultra-smooth creamer, strain through a fine mesh.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then transfer the mixture to a clean glass jar or bottle with a lid.
  8. Refrigerate for up to 7 days. Shake well before each use.

Notes

Customize the sweetness and spice to your liking. Freeze portions in ice cube trays for longer storage.
