Dandelion Rose Infusion

A refreshing infusion combining the earthy flavors of dandelion petals and sweet floral notes of rose petals, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 tbsp dried dandelion petals
  • 1 tsp dried rose petals
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • Lemon slice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Gather your dried dandelion petals and dried rose petals. Measure out 1 tablespoon of dandelion petals and 1 teaspoon of rose petals.
  2. Heat the Water: Boil 2 cups of water in a kettle or pot until it reaches a rolling boil.
  3. Steep the Petals: Pour boiling water over the dandelion and rose petals in a heatproof pitcher or cup. Let it steep for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the Mixture: Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the petals.
  5. Let it Cool: Allow the infusion to cool for a few minutes. Pour over ice if enjoying cold.
  6. Add Sweetness (Optional): Stir in honey and add a slice of lemon for extra flavor if desired.

Notes
