Peach Iced Tea

A refreshing homemade peach iced tea that’s perfect for hot summer days, blending sweet peaches with bold black tea.

Ingredients

  • 34 fresh peaches, sliced
  • 45 black tea bags
  • 3/4 cup sugar (or less to taste)
  • 8 cups water
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine sliced peaches and half of the water. Simmer on low with sugar until you have peach syrup and the fruit is soft.
  2. In another container, steep black tea bags in the remaining hot water for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Mix the tea and peach syrup together, straining out peach bits if desired. Let it cool.
  4. Serve over ice, adding mint leaves if using.

Notes

For a twist, muddle in some basil or mint before serving. Splash in lemonade for added flavor.
