Delicious Shamrock Milkshake

A festive, mint-flavored milkshake perfect for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, creamy and customizable to your taste.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
  • 2/3 cup cold milk
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon mint extract
  • 2 to 3 drops green food coloring (optional)
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Sprinkles and a cherry for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the ice cream, milk, mint extract, and food coloring to your blender.
  2. Blend on low to start, then nudge to medium until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste. Add a drop more mint if needed, or a splash more milk for a thinner shake.
  4. Pour into a chilled glass, top with whipped cream, and finish with sprinkles and a cherry.

Notes

For thicker shakes, use less milk. You can also scoop ice cream into individual containers and keep in the freezer for quick blending later.
