Deliciously Easy Cinnamon Donut Loaf

A simple and healthier take on traditional donuts, this Cinnamon Donut Loaf is moist, fluffy, and perfect for breakfast or a snack.

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well blended.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk the powdered sugar and a dash of cinnamon for the glaze.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled donut loaf and let it set before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve slices with tea or coffee for a delightful morning ritual. It can also be stored in an airtight container for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
