Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large strawberries, rinsed and dried
  • 1 cup white chocolate for melting
  • Orange food coloring (as needed)
  • Wax paper (for drying)
  • 2 boxes (5.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 cups milk (skim or 2%)
  • 1 package of Oreos (crushed into crumbs)
  • Clear plastic cups for serving

Instructions

  1. Place white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  2. Add orange food coloring, a few drops at a time, mixing well until the desired shade is reached.
  3. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, leaving the green tops exposed, then place on wax paper to set.
  4. Drizzle extra chocolate over the strawberries for added texture and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and milk until smooth, then refrigerate for 5 minutes.
  6. Separate Oreos from their cream filling and crush cookies into fine crumbs using a rolling pin.
  7. Assemble by adding a layer of chocolate pudding to the bottom of each cup, followed by a generous layer of Oreo ‘dirt.’
  8. Press a chocolate-covered strawberry into each cup, partially submerging it.
  9. Chill until ready to serve.

Notes

Use fresh, firm strawberries for best results. Let kids help with assembling for a fun Easter activity. Store assembled cups in the fridge for up to 2 days.
