Thyme Tea for Respiratory Health

A soothing herbal tea made with fresh thyme, perfect for respiratory health and alleviating coughs.

Ingredients

  • Fresh thyme sprigs (about 3-5 per cup)
  • Hot water (as close to boiling as possible)
  • Honey (optional)
  • Lemon (optional)
  • Pinch of black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the thyme sprigs and place them in a mug.
  2. Pour hot water over the thyme until the mug is full.
  3. Let it steep for at least 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the thyme or strain the tea.
  5. Stir in honey and lemon to taste.
  6. Add black pepper if desired for extra flavor.

Notes

For a stronger brew, steep for up to 10 minutes. Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
