Valentine’s Day Hot Chocolate

A creamy, sweet hot chocolate with a fun pink color and festive toppings, perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream
  • Marshmallows
  • Pink food coloring
  • Valentine’s Day sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 1/2 cups of whole milk in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat until small bubbles form, but do not boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips, a pinch of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract until completely melted.
  3. Add a few drops of pink food coloring and whisk until the desired color is achieved.
  4. Pour into clear mugs and top with whipped cream and Valentine’s Day sprinkles. Optionally, add marshmallows. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavors, consider adding peppermint extract or using dark chocolate instead of white chocolate.
