Earl Grey Cream Tea

A delightful drink blending the unique flavor of Earl Grey tea with the richness of cream or milk, perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon Earl Grey tea leaves or 1 tea bag
  • 1/2 cup milk or cream
  • 2 teaspoons sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a kettle.
  2. Add the Earl Grey tea leaves or tea bag to the boiling water and steep for 3-5 minutes.
  3. In another saucepan, heat the milk or cream until hot but not boiling.
  4. Remove the tea from heat and strain if using loose leaves.
  5. Pour the hot tea into a cup and add the hot milk or cream.
  6. Stir in sugar and vanilla extract if desired.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.
