Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag (or 1 teaspoon loose-leaf Earl Grey tea)
  • ½ cup hot water
  • ½ cup steamed milk (dairy or plant-based like oat, almond, or coconut milk)
  • 12 teaspoons vanilla syrup (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon dried lavender buds or 1-2 drops lavender extract (optional)
  • Sweetener of choice (honey, maple syrup, or sugar, if needed)

Instructions

  1. Steep the Earl Grey tea bag (or loose tea) in ½ cup hot water for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Stir in vanilla syrup and, if desired, add lavender extract or dried buds.
  3. Heat ½ cup of milk until hot but not boiling. Froth for a creamy texture.
  4. Pour the brewed tea into a mug, then gently add the steamed milk, holding back the foam.
