Easy Christmas Gumdrop Nougat Candy

A delightful holiday treat that combines creamy nougat with colorful gumdrops, perfect for sharing during the festive season.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 (225-gram) bags of white chocolate chips
  • 2 (250-gram) bags of mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups of chopped red and green gumdrops

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 square baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the gumdrops in half and set aside.
  3. In a double boiler, melt the butter, white chocolate chips, and mini marshmallows over medium heat, stirring continuously.
  4. Remove from heat and cool for about 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in chopped gumdrops until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Spread and pat the mixture down evenly using parchment paper.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  9. Remove from the pan using the parchment paper edges and cut into 60 bite-sized pieces.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
