Date Snickers

A quick and easy healthy snack made with medjool dates, peanut butter, dark chocolate, and roasted peanuts, offering a delightful sweet and salty experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, crushed
  • Flaky sea salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice open each date on one side and remove the pit.
  2. Stuff each date with about half a spoonful of peanut butter.
  3. Sprinkle crushed peanuts on top of the peanut butter and press them in gently.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave or over low heat until smooth.
  5. Dip each date into the melted chocolate until well coated and drizzle more on top.
  6. Finish with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.
  7. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or freeze for a chewy texture.

Notes

Use fresh, soft dates for the best texture. Warm the nut butter for easier spreading and consider adding coconut oil to the chocolate for extra glossiness.
