Easy One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles

A delightful dish combining tender chicken breasts with soft, buttery noodles, all cooked in one skillet for easy cleanup.

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces of egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add them to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. When the noodles are almost tender, return the chicken to the skillet and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Stir until everything is well combined and heated through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
