Sweet Treats

Delicious and easy-to-make sweet treats that are perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional add-ins: chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
  4. In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, and egg. Stir until blended.
  5. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Stir gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in any optional ingredients like chocolate chips or nuts.
  7. Scoop small amounts of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each scoop.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These can be stored in an airtight container and freeze well for up to three months.
