Spirulina Energy Smoothie

A vibrant and energizing smoothie packed with nutrients from spirulina, banana, spinach, and pineapple for a refreshing breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 big handful of fresh spinach
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 teaspoon spirulina powder
  • 1 cup plant-based milk (or regular milk)
  • A few ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Break apart the banana and toss it into the blender.
  2. Add the fresh spinach into the blender.
  3. Include the frozen pineapple chunks.
  4. Add the spirulina powder.
  5. Pour in the milk and add the ice.
  6. Blend on high for 40 seconds to 1 minute until smooth. If too thick, add a splash more milk; if too thin, add more banana or ice.
  7. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

For a tropical twist, substitute almond milk for coconut milk. Feel free to experiment with other fruits like mango or berries.
