Famous Crab Bombs

Delightful crab bombs packed with flavor, easy to make, and impressive for any occasion.

  • 1 pound jumbo lump crab meat, fresh or pasteurized
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, beaten egg, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, and parsley.
  3. Mix gently, being careful not to break the crab meat too much.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls or ‘bombs’.
  5. Place the crab bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Use high-quality crab meat for the best flavor. Do not overmix to maintain the texture.
