Creamy Fig Vanilla Matcha Latte

A delightful drink combining figs, vanilla, and matcha for a creamy and tasty experience.

Ingredients

  • 3 dried figs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1½ tsp matcha powder
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1½ cup milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • ¼ tsp vanilla paste
  • 1 tbsp fig syrup

Instructions

  1. Hydrate Figs: Cut dried figs into small pieces and soak them in 1 cup of hot water for about 5 minutes.
  2. Make Fig Syrup: In a small pot, combine soaked figs, sugar, and ¼ cup water. Heat on low to medium heat until it thickens to your liking.
  3. Whisk Matcha: Sift matcha powder into a bowl, add ¼ cup water, and whisk until frothy.
  4. Assemble Drink: In a glass, add ice, fig syrup, vanilla paste, and milk. Pour whisked matcha on top.
  5. Mix and Enjoy!: Stir gently before drinking and savor your latte.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within two days. Avoid freezing.
