Fire Water Drink

A spicy and warm beverage combining ginger, cayenne pepper, lemon, and honey, perfect for boosting immunity and warming up on cold days.

Ingredients

  • One thumb-size piece of fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Hot water

Instructions

  1. Juice the ginger: Peel the ginger and use a juicer to extract the juice or blend and strain through a sieve to collect about 3 tablespoons of ginger juice.
  2. Warm your glass: Rinse a shot glass with hot water to warm it up.
  3. Add honey: Place honey into the warm glass and stir in a small splash of hot water.
  4. Add the juices: Stir in lemon juice and ginger juice to the honey mixture.
  5. Add the heat: Mix in cayenne pepper, adjusting to taste.
  6. Top with hot water: Pour hot water to fill the glass, about 30 to 45 ml, and stir well.
  7. Enjoy: Drink warm in one go or sip slowly to enjoy the heat.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Not recommended for freezing.
